I received my undergraduate degree from Texas State University in San Marcos, TX. I am certified to teach Dance (K-12) and English (7-12) in Tennessee and Texas. I obtained my graduate degree in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment from Walden University in 2008 and my second Masters in Literature and Creative Writing from APSU. I am happily married and have one son who is embarking on his own college journey. This is my 10th year at The Middle College, my 17th year teaching for CMCSS, and my 20th year in education. I look forward to a great school year!
