CMCSS Traditional Model Safety and Health Overview

In the traditional model, students are physically present in their zoned schools. While the traditional model will provide some normalcy during the pandemic, there will be several district-wide and school-specific precautions and modifications in place to mitigate, not eliminate, risk of COVID-19.

District Offices Reopening

District and school offices are closed to the public on Friday, Aug. 28. Central Services Gracey is open to the public by appointment only Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Corona Virus Update in CMCSS

Over the past few weeks, a Communicable Disease Team (CDT) comprised of leaders from CMCSS and the Montgomery County Health Department have been meeting regularly to review the latest guidance from the CDC, monitor the health and attendance of CMCSS students and employees, and make recommendations to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 and other communicable diseases.

Congratulations to Science Olympiad!

Congratulations to our Science Olympiad team on their 4th Place overall finish in Chattanooga! They will now travel to the state competition on April 24-25, 2020!

Middle College named Reward School for 6th year!

Middle College at Austin Peay State University has been named a Reward School by the Tennessee Department of Education for the 6th year! The state grades schools on achievement, growth, graduation rate, absenteeism, and other factors. Our school’s rating was 4 out of 4 which is an “Exemplary” rating.
